Battlefield 3 - Mission 9 - Night Shift

Night Shift is a single player mission in Battlefield 3. Misfit team is back in Tehran, Iran

to take down Faruk Al-Bashir. Henry "Black" Blackburn is tasked to take out streetlights

with his silenced M40A5 with a thermal scope. for the V-22 Osprey carrying the rest of

Misfit team. At the end of the mission Al-Bashir tells where the 2 missing nukes are. One

was detonated in Paris, France and the other nuke is in New York City in the USA. Faruk Al-

Bashir then dies.
The mission starts out with the player and Campo on a building overlooking Misfit's LZ, and

the player is ordered to take out the lights. The player then goes down a few buildings and

finds the place where Jonothan Miller was executed, you then fight your way down to another

sniping point. Then you help with Misfit's assault on the suspected location where Al-Bashir

is. After fending off the PLR, Al-Bashir tries to escape in a vehicle, the player sprints to

the top of a nearby building, in which you shoot Al-Bashir's vehicle, disabling it and

incapacitating him. You then go to a mall where you fend off PLR until you can be extracted

with Al-Bashir. Afterwards, he then tells you information about Solomon, and all of his

plans.
